This site was last updated on Tuesday 26th August 2008. It's winter time. Plenty of snow on the hills and of course blue skis and lots of sun .... It's warm during the day when the sun is out but getting yes quite cold at night and first thing in the morning.

* Visit one of Nelson's many micro breweries, sample, have a tour ($5 at Founders Brewery).
* Get creative with the mind-boggling array of beads at the Bead Gallery
* Walk up the Centre of NZ to score great views out over Nelson city and out to the Abel Tasman and the Western Ranges
*  Lie on Tahuna Beach soaking up the great Nelson sunshine
